Q: What is 'dopelives.com'?
A: dopelives.com is a website and a community. We have many different streamers that livestream video games with voice commentary for your viewing pleasure. In the community we play a lot of games together and just hang around IRC and chat. We are a small but tight-knit community.
Q: What kind of community is this?
A: First and foremost, a video game one. We watch people play video games, we talk about video games, we play video games with each other.
There is no age limit to dopelives.com but a certain amount of maturity is expected.
If you want to discuss anime this is not the right community for you.
Q: What does 'dopelives' mean?
A: It's a short version of 'Dopefish Lives'.
Q: Why Dopefish/What is Dopefish?
A: Dopefish originated in the fourth Commander Keen game, and has since then evolved into a in-joke/easter egg in PC gaming.

Q: How do I auth with Q and why should I?
A: Click here for help with Authing with Q. Authing with Q will allow you to get automatic voice (+v).
Q: What is voice (+v) and how do I get it?
A: Voice (+v) is a usermode in IRC, getting it means that you won't be under the restrictions of Dopebot ™ and lets you talk during +m (moderated).
Q: Can I use a standalone IRC client to connect to the chat?

Q: What is Dopebot ™?
A: Dopebot ™ is a moderation bot that keeps spam and annoyance in the channel down to a minimum.
It currently monitors Text Flood, Repeat and CAPSLOCK. If you violate the restrictions you will first be warned, then kicked, and then temporarily banned.
Q: Can I get Dopebot ™ to stop harassing me?
A: Auth with Q and ask for +v. Read above.

A: Anything, pretty much. Anything goes; Games, youtube clips, threads, improvements, modifications, movies for Movie Night etc.
Q: What games do you guys own?
A: It's individual between the streamers, ask them. Most of us have good enough computers to run any PC game and emulate anything up to the Playstation.
We also stream video games from consoles such as the PS3, XBOX 360 and Dreamcast to mention a few.
Movie Night FAQ
Q: What is Movie Night?
A: Movie Night is a channel where we stream full-length movies and ocasionally some porn.
Q: Why not stream it on the main channel?
A: Livestream.com copyright & general rules, we don't want our main channel to get taken down.
Q: Where can I find Movie Night?
A: You can find Movie Night here.If you don't know where to find it you're not supposed to know, please don't ask for it, there is a 50 viewer limit.
Q: How will I know if there's a movie on?
A: The chat will be talking about something that isn't happening in the stream, auto pilot will be on in the main channel, there will be an announcement in the chat Topic.
